Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Hello, everyone, everywhere.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Pastor Bob Thibodeau here.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Welcome to the Faith Based Business podcast for today.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

We're so blessed that you're joining us.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

We've been talking all week about the foundations for success and the kingdompreneurs business blueprint.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Amen.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

If you missed any of the preceding trainings, go back and catch up.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Today we're going to be talking about.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Let me go ahead, share the screen here and we'll jump over there.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Today we're going to be talking about three steps to validate your ideas.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Okay, now this is important.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

As we've been discussing in the training prior to this, I said if you missed it, go back and review, because I don't have time to do reviews here.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

But basically, what we're looking at, as kingdompreneurs, our success is not measured solely by profit, but by the lives we impact.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Okay?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

To create meaningful change, we must first understand who we are called to serve.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Knowing your audience is like having a roadmap.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

It helps you speak directly to their needs, build trust, deliver value.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

And without clarity of who your audience is, even the best ideas can fail to resonate.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Okay, so before investing significant resources into your idea, validation, it's critical, folks.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

It is absolutely critical.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Validation is the process of determining whether your concept resonates with your target audience and solves a genuine problem.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

It prevents you misstepping and using your resources.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

And time is a valuable resource as well.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

You don't want to waste and ensures that your efforts are all aligned with the needs of those you want to serve.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

So think of validation kind of like planting seeds in the good soil like we read about in Mark chapter four.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

You wouldn't want to scatter seeds without first ensuring that the ground is ready and conducive to good growth.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Right?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Well, same thing here.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Validating your idea will ensure you're building on solid ground.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

How can validation help ensure your idea is market ready?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Well, basically, validation helps you confirm that your idea addresses a real need, that your idea is one that resonates with your audience, and that your idea has the potential for success for them and for you.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Okay?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

It's the difference between launching with confidence and just hoping for the best.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

I've done it before.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

I've just put this together and get it out there.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Just hope for the best.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

And I know other people can raise their hand on that one, too.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

I mean, you know the type that I'm talking about, right?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Yes.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Hey, how's it going?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

And this personal answer was something like, well, we're just a hoping and a Praying brother, you know, you don't want to run your business that way.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

At least I hope not, praise God.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

But the first thing you need to do is test your audience's motivation.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Now you can do this in a few ways, such as gauging their interest in your new idea.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

I mean, just create a simple survey or a poll and measure your responses.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

How your audience interest is showing to your idea, are they excited about it or is it like meh, whatever, right?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

You can use social media, you know, you can post teasers or descriptions of the training that you're, you're putting together the concept you have and see the level of engagement, these posts, you know, the likes, the comments, the shares and all that, see how that generates.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

And then you can watch for those, what I call early indicators.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Watch for enthusiastic response.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Man, this is going to be great.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

I can't hardly wait to see this.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Right?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

As they'll often indicate alignment with your major audience's needs.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Amen.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

And you know you have to.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

If you can share a prototype, you're putting together an app.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

If you're putting together a training program on a website, you know, share your prototypes, provide it to them for free in exchange for giving you feedback, right?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

That even if it's a training program, share the prototype or at least a rough draft with trusted individuals and ask them for your for their honest feedback about what you're trying to do.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

You can ask open ended questions.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

That's an important thing you don't want.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Did you like it?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

That's a yes or no response.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

What did you like about it?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

What did you not like about it?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Right?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

That's where you get the feedback.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Encourage feedback that will reveal potential flaws for in different areas, maybe point out areas for improvement.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Like I said, do not ask questions like please tell me if you like this training or not.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

That tells you absolutely nothing except this person didn't like it.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Okay, but questions as I said, like what did you find most helpful from the training we did today?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

One answer, just one response from that question can provide you with more information than 25 people who liked your social media post about it.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Okay.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Did you like this training?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Yes.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Yes.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Yes.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

No.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Yes.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Yes.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

No.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

No.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Yes.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

But what's that tell you?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

But if one person responds to that question, what did you find most helpful from the training today that can guide you in the next training?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Amen.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

And be sure that you learn how to leverage past successes.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

What do I mean by that?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Well, if you have related testimonials or case studies, use them to reinforce credibility and then refine your idea even further.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Let's move on now to my next point because this is important.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

That's what I want to try and build, to test with visuals and imagery.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Visuals and image, Brother Bob, what are you talking about?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Well, I'm so glad you asked.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Praise God.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Let's take a look at it.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

If possible, create some mockups to represent your concept or idea.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Things such as logos, social media posts, even different website designs can give potential clients some idea of what you can do.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

You know, if you're creating a new website, that's for your training program, put some things on there and again, ask for feedback on it.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

You know, ask them, would you purchase this?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

If so, why?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Why would you purchase this?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Or give me some ideas on how you would like this page to look different, things like that.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Because folks, this is critical in getting all the foundation out of the way before you go all in on trying to market it.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Okay?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

And you know, measure people's reactions when you ask for their feedback.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Tell me what you think about this page type thing.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

You need to measure their reactions, tests.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Test these visuals with your audience to see what resonates best.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Did they like the blue background better than the red background?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

The green background better than the, the orange background?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Did they like the white lettering or the light blue lettering?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

And ask.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

They'll tell you.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

If you ask, they will tell you about the layout on your new website or not is what they like or, or not.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

But here, the opposite of what Jesus taught is, you know, he said, ask and you shall receive.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Well here, if you do not ask, you will not receive.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Amen.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

And so ask and receive and then finally reiterate it quickly.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

What does that mean?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Use the feedback that you receive to tweak your imagery as soon as possible.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Make changes to the whole thing for every part that you've been asking about and they've given you feedback, make the changes to it where and when possible by making it more appealing, more aligned with your brand based upon the feedback you have received.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

This will show your audience what you're listening to them, which makes them feel valuable in the process.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

And if they feel valuable and that you're listening to them, they reciprocate by listening to you.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

How are they going to listen to you?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Probably by purchasing your training.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Amen.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

So when you validate your idea through testing, through feedback, giving visuals, giving out pro copies of the prototypes, asking for their honest opinions and not just yes or no answers, this ensures that you've created something that your audience truly values.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Amen.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

By confirming as market readiness, you minimize your risks and you maximize your potential for success.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Amen.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Glory to God.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Now, when we do these things, okay, you need to make sure that you take quick and prompt action.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

So right now, what I want you to do, just choose one of the validation methods we discussed today and apply it to your idea, whatever it might be you might be thinking about.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

A new email campaign, or a new marketing campaign, or a new website.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Whatever you've been working on, whatever you've been thinking about, new training program, just pick one area and using these things we talked about today, validate it with your audience.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

See what your target market thinks.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Amen.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

In fact, I'd love to hear from you about this training.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Praise God.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Just drop a comment down below and share how you validated your ideas and learned from others during the process.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Tell me what you liked about this training.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Tell me what you didn't like about it.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Other than Pastor Bob's face, right?

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Amen.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Glory to God.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Well, that's all the time we have for today.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

We'll talk next time.

Pastor Bob Thibodeau:

Be blessed in all that you do.
