Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:This is actually day ten, the conclusion of the second week, and we've, we've gone through a lot of information.

Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:I mean, that's what we've been talking about.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:And every one of these training sessions are building upon the other.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Okay.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Last time we shared how to use infomercials as a source of ideas on possible niches that you can look into.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Today, I want to expand on that just a little bit.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:All right.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Another place you can go is the business success magazines like Fortune and magazine.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Fortune magazine, Success magazine, Entrepreneur magazine.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:There's a bunch of them out there.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Just go to your local bookstore, not the small one, but the big one.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Okay?
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:The biggest bookstore in your area.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Take a drive, buy a copy of every one of those magazines.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:You know, you can write it off as a business expense because of your business research.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:I mean, I've.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:I've done this before.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:I've gone in and bought a stack of those magazines.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:You read them, study them, look in the back at the index or the.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:All the classified ads, and it's amazing what you can learn when you're reading.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Look for common themes, though.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:You know, 20 magazines, 17 of them have an article on the same topic this month.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:That's not a coincidence.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:What's hot in the world this month?
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:That particular topic.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Right.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Why do 17 out of 20 business magazines have an article on one topic?
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Now, what would be funny is if you buy one every single month for an entire year, you'd find out that the same topic is featured almost every single month.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Hmm.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Why?
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:It's a hot topic and people are buying it and it sells.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:They'll continue to feature it until sales slow down.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Then what do they do?
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:They find the next hot topic and run with that until those sales slow down, then they do it again and again and again and again.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:You can take a lesson from all that.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Amen.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Somebody.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Somebody just had an aha moment right there.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Praise God.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Now, if you pay attention to this, you'll see there are multiple topics that work the exact same way across different magazines.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:It works the same way with advertising.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:If you find an advertiser that's advertising, one of those small business magazines, it doesn't tell you very much.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Oh, they wrote a check for a $1,000.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:No big deal for a big company.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:But if you find that the same advertiser is in all 20 magazines running the exact same ad, now, what does it tell you?
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:They're making money with that ad.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Okay, folks, you know, I'm giving a lot of information this week, so you can do some brainstorming.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Now, don't set it aside.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Wait till later.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Just jump in and do it.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:You know, by the way, all we talk about was a small business niche, but you could be in any niche.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:You know, you're, if you're in weight loss, you're in pets, you're in scrapbooking, crocheting, you're into fast cars or into computers, weightlifting, it works the exact same way.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:You want to find out what's hot in the computer world?
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Pick up 20 computer magazines and see the similarities, the commonalities.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Want to find out what's hot in the crafts world?
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Pick up all the craft magazines.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:There's a bunch of them.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:You want to find out what's hot in the equestrian world?
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:There might only be three or four magazines there.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Buy all of them.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Even if you have to write them, you know, to receive them or something.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Buy them online.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:If you can't buy them at your local bookstore, buy them online.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:You want to find out what's hot in the dog training world?
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Buy all the dog training magazines.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Want to find out what's hot in weightlifting?
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:There's like ten or 15 different magazines out there about that.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Buy them all every month for six months.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:See what topic is in each one of them each and every month.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:See who the advertisers are in each one of them each and every month.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:There's a reason they're there, right?
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:You'll know what's hot by the time you finish this.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Be sure to look at the corresponding websites for these magazines as well.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Not just the magazines, but the advertisers, and you'll see what's hot.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:All right.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Look at who's advertising in those magazines.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Check them all out.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Go to their website, you'll find out what they promote.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:It must be working or else they wouldn't be doing a month after month after month, year after year after year.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Amen.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:This can be done in every single niche.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:It doesn't matter what niche you are in.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:It doesn't matter if there's a.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:If there's a market for it, you will be able to find it.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Amen.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:If there's anything at all being done in that niche, you can research it.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Look at the commonalities.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Now let's review what we talked about.

Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:We talked about those podcasts, videos.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:You can let your mind run wild with all the other places that you'll be able to go to get information because it is out there.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:And this infer, this is the information age right now.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:It's out there.
Pastor Bob Thibodeaux:Just do the research and dive in with your topic and test it.
